Do the modules cover the same as the 4-day School of Race Engineering?

The core subjects covered at the 4-day School are all included in an online module, with a few exceptions that would not translate well to an online environment. The online modules cover specific subjects in much greater detail and go further into the theory behind each subject before you get trackside.

How can I pay for the modules?

When you register for a place on the MIA Campus you will be directed to checkout and pay immediately. The system will accept all major credit cards or PayPal. If you have a loyalty voucher, this can also be redeemed at checkout.

Do you offer student discounts?

We do not currently offer specific students discounts, however there is a loyalty scheme for those that purchase subsequent modules. Please contact us for more details. 

I cannot attend on the day specified, can I download the recording?

Ideally, due to the ‘live’ nature of the valuable Q&A sessions, we would recommend that you attend in person. However, the MIA Campus platform allows you to access copies of the tutor presentations and any additional resources needed. Recordings of the sessions are available to view only for 3 weeks post event. This service is only open to those that have pre-registered for the module prior to the event, no post-event purchase of recordings is available.

Will you repeat the module at a later date?

It is our intention to continue to offer these Online Modules each month, provided there is still a demand. Please keep an eye on the School of Race Engineering website and social media channels for updates to the planned schedule and new announcements.

I am an overseas student, can I attend?

Of course, as these modules are delivered online, we welcome students from across the globe. Please note the modules are delivered in English.

Do I have to sit and exam and is there a certificate at the end?

You will not be asked to sit an exam, although there may be short assignments set during the module, but these are not compulsory. At the end of the course, once you have accessed and completed all parts of the module on the MIA Campus, you will be able to access and download your industry recognised Certificate of Attendance direct from the MIA Campus.

What are the cancellation terms?

The Motorsport Industry Association ("MIA") reserves the right to alter any of the arrangements described due to unforeseen circumstances. The content of the module/courses are the property of the MIA and should not be duplicated. For online modules, please do not attempt to share your registration link with anyone else. Any attempt to do so will result in you being un-enrolled and no refund will be due. Cancellation Policy: To guarantee admission, attendees must pay prior to the module/course taking place. The MIA regrets there can be no refund should you cancel within 30 days of the module/course. Failure to attend the module/course will result in the full cost being incurred and no refunds shall be given.
